Scope of service
Conversion of the Orosi gold processing plant (La Libertad, Nicaragua) from heap leaching operation to conventional milling operation, comprising an automated extraction, crushing, milling and tank leaching process to extract 90% gold.
Processing capacity is expanded to 5,500 tons of ore per day. Scheduled to produce 90,000 ounces of gold per year.
The process has one SAG mill (20′ diameter, 9’6″ long and 2,250 HP power) and two ball mills (13’6″ diameter, 20′ long and 2,250 HP power).
First Phase
Feasibility study for the expansion/conversion of the gold processing plant at the Orosi mine.
Second Phase
Detailed engineering for the expansion/conversion of the gold processing plant at the Orosi mine.

The following activities have also been carried out:
- Feasibility study, definitive engineering and supervision of the 138 kV transmission line, substations and telecommunications / SKADA for the 138 kV power supply to the mine.

- Logistical support: Bidding documents, technical evaluation and purchasing advice.
